32 BBY - Birth on Corellia

Han is born in a poor district of Corellia. His father, Ovan, is a shipyard worker at Corellian Engineering Corporation who tells him he is meant to fly ships, not build them, and later abandons him.

~24 BBY - Scrumrat of the White Worms

Han joins Lady Proxima's White Worms gang as a street thief and meets fellow scrumrat Qi'ra, who later becomes his first love.

13 BBY - Escape from Corellia

Han steals a vial of coaxium, defies Proxima, and flees with Qi'ra. She is recaptured at the spaceport, and Han enlists with the Empire to get offworld. The recruiting officer gives him the surname Solo.

13 BBY - Cadet at Carida

As Cadet 124-329, Han shows real talent as a pilot but keeps disobeying orders. He crashes a stolen TIE fighter and helps his fellow cadets rescue Beilert Valance on Qhulosk.

~10 BBY - Expelled and Sent to Mimban

A court-martial expels Han from the flight academy. He is sent to the 224th Imperial Armored Division as a mudtrooper corporal.

10 BBY - Meeting Chewbacca

On Mimban, Han is thrown into a pit with Chewbacca, a Wookiee held prisoner by the Empire. The two escape together and desert with Tobias Beckett's gang.

10 BBY - The Vandor Heist

The raid on a coaxium conveyex fails. Rio Durant and Val are killed, and the crew now owes a debt to Dryden Vos of Crimson Dawn.

10 BBY - The Kessel Run

Han reunites with Qi'ra and teams up with Lando Calrissian. He pilots the Millennium Falcon through the Kessel Run in twelve parsecs with stolen unrefined coaxium.

10 BBY - Showdown on Savareen

After Beckett betrays the crew, Han shoots him. Qi'ra kills Vos, takes his place in Crimson Dawn, and leaves Han behind. Han then wins the Falcon from Lando in a game of sabacc.

~10–1 BBY - Smuggler for Jabba

With Chewbacca as his co-pilot, Han smuggles for Jabba the Hutt. When he dumps a spice shipment to avoid Imperials, he ends up with a bounty on his head.

1 BBY - Charter to Alderaan

At Mos Eisley, Han agrees to fly Luke Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi and the droids to Alderaan. He finds the planet destroyed and the Falcon captured by the Death Star.

1 BBY - Rescue of Princess Leia

Han helps free Leia Organa from the Death Star and delivers the stolen plans to the Rebel base on Yavin 4.

0 BBY - Battle of Yavin

Han comes back at the last moment and drives Darth Vader off Luke's tail, which lets Luke destroy the Death Star.

0–3 ABY - Rebel Operative

Han flies missions for the Rebel Alliance while still trying to settle his debt to Jabba.

3 ABY - Battle of Hoth and Flight to Bespin

Han escapes Echo Base with Leia and falls in love with her. At Cloud City, Lando's hand is forced and Darth Vader captures the group.

3 ABY - Frozen in Carbonite

Vader tests the carbon-freezing chamber on Han. Boba Fett then takes him to Jabba on Tatooine.

4 ABY - Rescue from Jabba's Palace

Leia frees Han from the carbonite. His friends defeat Jabba at the Great Pit of Carkoon.

4 ABY - Battle of Endor

Now a general, Han leads the Pathfinders with Ewok help to destroy the shield generator protecting the second Death Star.

4 ABY - Marriage to Leia

Han and Leia marry on Endor soon after the battle. Han keeps leading operations against the Empire's remnants.

5 ABY - Birth of Ben Solo

Leia gives birth to their son, Ben, around the time of the Battle of Jakku.

~5–28 ABY - Racer and Pilot

Han spends the New Republic years in civilian life, flying and racing. Ben's growing darkness puts a strain on the family.

28 ABY - Loss of His Son

Ben falls to the dark side under Snoke and destroys Luke's Jedi temple. Han and Leia separate, and Han goes back to smuggling. The Falcon is later stolen from him.

34 ABY - Reclaiming the Falcon

Han and Chewbacca find the Falcon with Rey and Finn and help take BB-8 to the Resistance.

34 ABY - Death on Starkiller Base

During the Resistance attack, Han confronts his son, Kylo Ren, and begs him to come home. Kylo stabs him with his lightsaber, and Han falls into the weapon's core.

35 ABY - Memory on Kef Bir

A vision of Han appears to Ben Solo and helps him give up the name Kylo Ren and return to the light.
