200 BBY - Birth on Kashyyyk

Born in the city of Rwookrrorro on Kashyyyk to Attichitcuk during the High Republic Era. He later marries Mallatobuck and has a son, Lumpawaroo.

20 BBY - Hunted on Wasskah

Captured by Garnac's Trandoshan hunting guild and taken to Wasskah as prey. He joins Ahsoka Tano, Jinx and O-Mer, builds a transmitter that calls in Tarfful's Wookiee relief force, and helps defeat the hunters.

19 BBY - Battle of Kashyyyk

Fights beside Yoda, Luminara Unduli and Tarfful against the Separatist invasion. When Order 66 is issued, he helps Yoda escape the clone troopers in an escape pod.

~19 BBY–10 BBY - Enslaved by the Empire

Captured with other Wookiees by Trandoshan slavers and made to cut wroshyr trees for the Empire. He is handed over to the Empire and moved between Imperial facilities before ending up on Mimban as "the Beast."

10 BBY - Meeting Han Solo

Han Solo is thrown into his cell on Mimban and the two escape together. Chewbacca swears a life debt to Han and joins Tobias Beckett's gang.

10 BBY - Vandor Heist and the Kessel Run

Takes part in the failed conveyex heist on Vandor and the raid on Kessel, where he frees enslaved Wookiees. He flies as the Falcon's co-pilot for the first time on the record-setting Kessel Run.

10 BBY - Showdown on Savareen and Winning the Falcon

Survives Beckett's betrayal on Savareen and helps hand the coaxium over to Enfys Nest. Han then wins the Millennium Falcon from Lando on Numidian Prime.

9 BBY - Hunted by Zuckuss and 4-LOM

Rescues Han from the bounty hunters Zuckuss and 4-LOM at Valtos after crime lord Nodo puts a bounty on the pair.

1 BBY - Hired at Mos Eisley

Chewbacca and Han agree to fly Obi-Wan Kenobi, Luke Skywalker and the droids to Alderaan. They find the planet destroyed and help rescue Princess Leia from the Death Star.

0 BBY - Battle of Yavin

He urges Han to turn back, and the Falcon's return drives off Darth Vader so Luke can destroy the Death Star. Chewbacca is later honored with a medal.

0 ABY - Rescue on Cyrkon

Rescues Rebel lieutenant Caluan Ematt from Cyrkon and escapes ISB Commander Alecia Beck.

3 ABY - Hoth and Cloud City

Escapes Echo Base with Han, Leia and C-3PO. At Cloud City, Lando betrays them to Vader and Han is frozen in carbonite. Chewbacca escapes with Leia and Lando.

4 ABY - Rescue of Han Solo

Gets into Jabba's palace on Tatooine as Leia's "prisoner" and helps free Han and defeat Jabba.

4 ABY - Battle of Endor

Fights alongside the Ewoks and helps destroy the Death Star II's shield generator, which lets the Alliance fleet destroy the station.

5 ABY - Liberation of Kashyyyk

With Han and New Republic allies, he frees Kashyyyk and its enslaved Wookiees from Imperial control. He then returns home to his family.

~28 ABY - Back to Smuggling

After Ben Solo turns to the dark side and destroys Luke's new Jedi, Chewbacca rejoins Han as a smuggler. The pair eventually lose the Falcon and fly the Eravana instead.

34 ABY - Recovering the Falcon

They get the Falcon back over Jakku, along with Rey, Finn and BB-8, and help bring the map to Luke Skywalker to the Resistance.

34 ABY - Battle of Starkiller Base

Plants explosives on Starkiller Base and watches Kylo Ren kill Han. He wounds Kylo, then flies the Falcon to rescue Finn and Rey.

34 ABY - Ahch-To and Crait

Flies Rey to Ahch-To to find Luke Skywalker, then pilots the Falcon to save the Resistance survivors at Crait.

35 ABY - Quest for Exegol

Travels to Pasaana and Kijimi searching for Palpatine's hidden world. He is captured by the First Order and seemingly killed when Rey destroys a transport, but he is actually held on the Steadfast and rescued.

35 ABY - Battle of Exegol

Flies the Falcon at the head of the Citizens' Fleet against the Final Order and sees the Sith finally defeated. Maz Kanata gives him a medal.
