Ezra Bridger

Ezra Bridger is remembered as the street-smart orphan who became a Jedi Padawan and one of the early rebellion's most important young leaders. He was born on the first Empire Day. His parents were arrested for their anti-Imperial broadcasts, and from about the age of seven he lived alone as a thief and con artist. In 5 BBY he fell in with the rebel crew of the Ghost, and Kanan Jarrus took him on as an apprentice. He built his own lightsaber from a kyber crystal he received in the Lothal Jedi Temple, and his broadcast of defiance helped bring scattered rebel cells together. Learning that his parents had died in an Imperial prison pushed him toward the dark side, which peaked on Malachor, where he opened a Sith holocron alongside Maul and Kanan was blinded. He came back from the edge, went on to lead missions of his own, helped Rex's droid veterans end their war, and set out to find Obi-Wan Kenobi. After Kanan died, Ezra led the liberation of Lothal in 1 BBY. He called a pod of purrgil to drag Grand Admiral Thrawn's fleet into hyperspace, and he was carried off with it. For almost a decade he was stranded on Peridea in another galaxy. There Sabine Wren and Ahsoka Tano found him, and he got home aboard Thrawn's own flagship.

Born on Lothal to Ephraim and Mira Bridger on the day the Galactic Empire was proclaimed.

~18 BBY - The Graf Children

As an infant, meets Milo and Lina Graf, whom his parents shelter after the Empire abducts the Grafs' parents.

14 BBY - Parents Speak Out

His parents begin illegal public broadcasts criticizing Imperial rule on Lothal.

12 BBY - Orphaned

The Empire arrests Ephraim and Mira. The seven-year-old Ezra is left to survive alone on the streets as a thief and con artist, and eventually makes his home in an abandoned comm tower.

~5 BBY - Gladiator Night

Guides the bounty hunter Bossk through Capital City and helps expose a corrupt Imperial officer after his mentor, the pawnbroker Ferpil Wallaway, is killed.

5 BBY - Joins the Spectres

Runs into the crew of the Ghost during a heist in Capital City and helps free Wookiee slaves from Kessel. He then accepts Kanan Jarrus's offer to become his Padawan.

Calls a pod of purrgil to drag Thrawn's fleet into hyperspace, taking himself and Thrawn with it. His friends destroy the Imperial dome and free Lothal.

~5 ABY - The Search Begins

After the Empire falls, Sabine Wren and Ahsoka Tano set out to find him.

9 ABY - Exile on Peridea

After almost a decade stranded on the planet Peridea in another galaxy, he is reunited with Sabine and Ahsoka.

When Thrawn escapes Peridea aboard the Chimaera, Ezra stows away on the Star Destroyer and returns to the main galaxy, leaving Sabine and Ahsoka behind.
