Unknown - Youth on Corellia

Grows up on Corellia working at a fuel depot and on farms, learning to fly and repair ships. As a youth he chases down a pirate gunboat in a borrowed starfighter and destroys it.

Before 2 BBY - Imperial Cadet at Skystrike Academy

Recruited by the Empire while hauling cargo, he trains as a TIE pilot at Skystrike Academy on Montross, where he befriends Hobbie Klivian and Rake Gahree.

2 BBY - Defection to the Rebellion

After the Teralov massacre he contacts Fulcrum about defecting. Sabine Wren infiltrates the academy, and with Agent Kallus's help Wedge and Hobbie escape in a TIE bomber and join Phoenix Squadron at Chopper Base on Atollon.

2 BBY - Visit to Gahree's Family

Wedge and Hobbie try to honor their fallen friend's family, but Instructor Goran ambushes them there. They escape and realize they can never go home.

~1 BBY - Mission to Killun 71

Now an Alliance lieutenant, he poses as a TIE pilot to steal Imperial codes with AP-5 and Chopper. On the way back, Imperial slicers take control of Chopper.

1 BBY - Battle of Atollon

Flies an A-wing against Grand Admiral Thrawn's assault on Chopper Base and escapes with the survivors to Yavin 4.

1 BBY - Battle of Scarif Announcement

While grounded by an injury on Yavin 4, he tells rebel pilots over the base announcement system to redeploy to Scarif.

0 BBY - Battle of Yavin

Flies as Red Two, saves Luke Skywalker from a TIE fighter, and is forced out of the trench run by damage. He and Luke are the only Red Squadron survivors.

~0 ABY - Missions with Red Squadron

Continues flying under Arhul Narra, including the Giju evacuation and the hijacking of the Star Destroyer Harbinger to break the blockade of Tureen VII.

~2 ABY - Mercy Mission to Oulanne

As a lieutenant commander he leads a relief mission and recruits the former Imperial pilot Thane Kyrell into the Rebellion.

As Rogue Three, he and gunner Wes Janson use a tow cable to bring down the first AT-AT of the battle, then help cover the evacuation.

Promoted to commander, he gathers new pilots into a revived Red Squadron and wipes out a pirate base that threatens the fleet's rendezvous point.

Flies with Shara Bey's Starlight Squadron to warn scattered fleet divisions that Alliance codes have been compromised.

4 ABY - Battle of Endor

Leads Red Squadron into the second Death Star's superstructure and, with Lando Calrissian, destroys its main reactor.

4 ABY - Captured on Akiva

Captured by Imperials while scouting their gathering on Akiva alone. He is freed during the uprising there alongside Norra Wexley and her allies.

5 ABY - Phantom Squadron and Kashyyyk

Forms Phantom Squadron and joins the unauthorized strike to liberate Kashyyyk, after which the squadron is disbanded.

5 ABY - Battle of Jakku

Leads the reformed Phantom Squadron at Jakku, the battle that finally defeats the Empire.

After 5 ABY - Flight Instructor and Marriage

Retires to teach at the New Republic's flight academy on Hosnian Prime, later marries Norra Wexley and settles on Akiva.

34 ABY - Recruited by the Resistance

Visited on Akiva by Poe Dameron, Temmin Wexley and Karé Kun, he agrees to help the struggling Resistance.

35 ABY - Battle of Exegol

Flies with Lando Calrissian and Chewbacca's Citizens' Fleet against the Final Order at Exegol. He arrives too late to save his stepson Temmin.
