Born Kivu'raw'nuru, core name Vurawn, into the small and poor Kivu family.

~56 BBY - Loss of His Sister

His older sister Vurika is taken to serve as a sky-walker navigator. Only three years old, he believes she has died.

~39 BBY - Adopted into the Mitth Family

Thurfian interviews him, and Patriarch Thooraki quietly arranges his immediate adoption as a merit adoptive. He becomes Mitth'raw'nuru, "Thrawn." On his first spaceflight, to the Taharim Academy on Naporar, he meets Al'iastov, and at his rematching dinner on Avidich he meets Thrass.

~39 BBY - Cheating Accusation at Taharim

Accused of cheating on a combat simulation after a record score, he proves his innocence in a live exercise arranged by General Ba'kif at the urging of Senior Cadet Ziara (Ar'alani).

~37 BBY - Commissioned as Lieutenant

Graduates from the Taharim Academy. Thrass declares his friendship, which secretly settles a Stybla offer to rematch him into their family.

Before 19 BBY - Pirate Hunts and the Vagaari

As a Junior Commander and later senior officer, he fights pirates on the Ascendancy's frontier and leads operations against the Vagaari, during which Thrass is killed.

~19 BBY - Mission to Mokivj

Travels into known space looking for allies against the Nikardun and fights alongside Jedi Anakin Skywalker at Mokivj during the Clone Wars.

~19 BBY - Battle over Primea

Defeats General Yiv's fleet, bringing about the collapse of the Nikardun Destiny.

~18 BBY - Hoxim Incident

Defuses the Agbui scheme, backed by the Grysk agent Jixtus, to set three Chiss families against each other in civil war.

~18 BBY - Last Stand at Sunrise

Unites several allied nations to defeat Jixtus's Grysk fleet above Sunrise.

~18 BBY - Exile

Under political pressure over his methods, he is exiled with Supreme General Ba'kif's quiet blessing, so that he can study the Galactic Empire as a possible ally against the Grysks.

~14 BBY - Discovered by the Empire

Captain Voss Parck of the Strikefast finds him in Wild Space. He is presented to Emperor Palpatine and pledges his service.

~14 BBY - Royal Imperial Academy

With cadet Eli Vanto as his translator and aide, he learns Basic and graduates from the Coruscant academy in three months.

2 BBY - Promoted to Grand Admiral

Defeats the insurgent Nightswan at Batonn, is promoted to Grand Admiral by the Emperor, and sends Eli Vanto to the Chiss Ascendancy.

2 BBY - Lothal Campaign Begins

Takes command of the Seventh Fleet from the Chimaera at Governor Pryce's request to destroy the Lothal rebels, and champions the TIE Defender program.

1 BBY - Battle of Atollon

Finds and crushes Phoenix Cell's base on Atollon, though Chopper Base's survivors escape.

1 BBY - Mission with Darth Vader

Sent by the Emperor with Vader to Batuu. At Mokivj they defeat the Grysks and rescue captive Chiss children.

1 BBY - Project Stardust Supply Lines

Exposes Grand Admiral Savit's treason and defeats a Grysk force threatening Death Star supply lines.

~0 BBY - Liberation of Lothal

During the rebels' final assault, purrgil wrap around the Chimaera and jump it into hyperspace, stranding Thrawn and Ezra Bridger far beyond the galaxy.

0 BBY–9 ABY - Stranded on Peridea

Remains stranded on Peridea while the Empire falls. Remnant loyalists rely on his knowledge of the Unknown Regions.

9 ABY - Return from Peridea

With help from Morgan Elsbeth and the Great Mothers, escapes Peridea aboard the Chimaera, leaving Ahsoka Tano and Sabine Wren behind, and sets course for Dathomir.
