Date unknown - Birth as Bail Prestor

Born on Alderaan into House Prestor, one of the Elder Houses. As a boy he dreamed of chasing purrgil beyond Kathou, and he looked up to the Jedi Thraymus Argent, who investigated an incident in his family.

Date unknown - Marriage to Breha Organa

Married Alderaan's crown princess and took the Organa name. When Breha became queen he took on the consort's titles, including Viceroy, along with the roles of First Chairman and Governor of Alderaan.

~40–34 BBY - Rescue on Planet WG4587

While serving as junior senator, his corvette crashed on a world full of kaiju-like creatures called kaijura. Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi came to his rescue.

32 BBY - Senator of Alderaan

After the Invasion of Naboo he succeeded Bail Antilles in the Galactic Senate and resigned as governor. He befriended the newly elected Mon Mothma and advised Chancellor Palpatine.

28 BBY - Allying with Padmé Amidala

Led a progressive faction with Mothma and Onaconda Farr. He saved Amidala's double from a plot set in a condemned part of the Senate building, brought Amidala into his faction, and hosted her on Alderaan during the Senate recess.

28 BBY - The Bromlarch crisis

Urged Amidala to join the survey team sent to Bromlarch. The relief package that followed, the Mid Rim Cooperation Motion, was named after one of his own remarks.

24 BBY - Loyalist Committee

Joined Palpatine's Loyalist Committee during the Separatist Crisis while opposing both the Emergency Powers Act and the Military Creation Act.

22 BBY - Start of the Clone Wars

Heard Kenobi's report from Geonosis and argued that the Senate would not approve the clone army before a Separatist attack. He then watched the Grand Army of the Republic launch.

22–20 BBY - Humanitarian efforts

Led relief efforts for Christophsis and Ryloth, organized the Alderaan Refugee Conference, and pushed for peace. His faction's attempt to cut military spending ended with Onaconda Farr's murder.

19 BBY - Petition of 2,000

Joined the Delegation of 2,000 in calling on Palpatine to give up his emergency powers, then witnessed the Jedi being declared traitors and the Galactic Empire proclaimed.

19 BBY - Adoption of Leia

Rescued Yoda after Order 66, sheltered Kenobi, and adopted Padmé's daughter Leia with Breha. He also took Kenobi's newborn nephew Luke's safety into his circle of secrets.

~18 BBY - Recruiting Ahsoka Tano

After a run-in with the Inquisitorius, he brought Ahsoka Tano into his growing resistance movement.

9 BBY - Leia's kidnapping

When Leia was kidnapped, he called Obi-Wan Kenobi out of exile to bring her home.

~5–3 BBY - Coordinating rebel cells

Worked secretly with Ahsoka Tano and the Phoenix cell, including the Lothal ship deal that exposed Leia to the rebellion, while carefully keeping up his public role in the Imperial Senate.

2 BBY - Birth of the Rebel Alliance

After Mon Mothma denounced the Empire and fled the Senate, the scattered rebel cells joined together as the Alliance to Restore the Republic. Bail stayed in the Senate and later handed his seat to Leia.

1 BBY - Scarif and the Death Star

Sat on Alliance High Command during the Scarif crisis. He sent Leia to Tatooine to find Kenobi and went home to warn Alderaan that there would be no peace.

1 BBY - Death on Alderaan

Killed along with Breha and the rest of Alderaan's people when the Death Star destroyed the planet.
